SEO steps for optimization the website or blog in digital marketing

Like the title, it is important to include the key phrases when writing the title tag. Google considers this one of the most important internal factors when indexing and ranking your page.

5. Weight and format of the article images

It is key to optimize the weight and size of the images before uploading them to the article, since these directly affect the loading time of the page. And in this sense there are two important points to take into account.

  1. Size and resolution: It is recommended that images do not exceed 1280 px in size. And that the resolution is adapted for the web (72ppp).
  2. Image format: You have to choose the appropriate format for each type of image, the most recommended and most used are JPG (ideal for photographs, banners, etc.) and PNG (ideal for illustrations or icons with transparent backgrounds).

6. Label “alt” in images

The “alt” attribute or alternative text is basically a text that describes an image. We use it to give Google information about what information an image contains. This helps Google better index an image and the site that contains it.
