Ahsan Soomro

Ahsan Soomro is the founder of SEOSpot and the person on the other end of every "send me your site" message.

He started SEOSpot after years of watching agencies treat SEO as a checklist — audits filed and forgotten, reports that mistook activity for results, and link building that founders were embarrassed to explain. The premise was simple: do less, but do it deeper, and put real money behind the work.

That's the 90-day refund promise — a clause written into every engagement that says if the work doesn't move the needle by day 90, the client gets their money back. It exists because most agencies are accountable to their billing cycle, not their results. The promise forces SEOSpot to only take on clients we're confident we can move, and to ship the work that actually moves them.

Outside SEOSpot, Ahsan runs SEO Pakistan — the largest SEO community on LinkedIn, with over 5,000 members across Pakistan, the UK, the US, and the Middle East. He founded it in 2008, when LinkedIn groups were a different kind of internet, and has moderated it for 17 years. It's the longest-running thing he's done, and the reason a lot of the patterns SEOSpot uses in client work were stress-tested in public first.

Ahsan has spent the past decade growing organic traffic for ecommerce and comparison-focused sites across Pakistan and international markets, with a technical bent: Python scripting for SEO automation, schema implementation at scale, and content architecture for large sites. He holds a Master's degree from the University of Karachi.

He leads SEO strategy across every SEOSpot engagement. He's especially focused on the 2026 shift to AI engine citation — the technical and content work required to be cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and the engines that now sit between buyers and the open web.
