Programmatic SEO

Most programmatic SEO is content farms with better tooling.
Ours is product-led.

Programmatic SEO that generates pages from data and templates — but only where the resulting pages are genuinely useful. Strategy, template architecture, data sourcing, quality gates, and the indexation discipline most pSEO efforts skip.

The problem

Generating 50,000 thin pages is a Google penalty, not a strategy.

Programmatic SEO works when the templates create genuinely useful pages — comparison data, location-specific information, integration use cases. It fails when teams generate pages with no actual value and expect Google to reward volume. The line is thin and most pSEO efforts cross it.

  • Successful pSEO sites combine unique data with template architecture — Zapier, Airbnb, G2

  • Google's Helpful Content update has devalued most thin-template pSEO

  • Indexation discipline matters: indexing 10,000 valuable pages > indexing 100,000 thin ones

  • AI engines cite programmatic pages selectively — the well-built ones rank, the rest are ignored

Methodology

How we work.

Not a generic playbook. The order matters and so does the depth at each step.

  1. 01

    Opportunity identification

Find the genuine pSEO opportunities in your product or data: integrations, comparisons, locations, use cases. Reject patterns that wouldn't produce value-add pages.

  2. 02

    Template architecture

Design templates that include unique value per page — your data, user data, integration details, location-specific information. Boilerplate sections kept minimal.

  3. 03

    Data sourcing + QA

Identify the data feeding each template. Set quality thresholds — pages without minimum data quality don't get generated. Better to have 5,000 strong pages than 50,000 weak ones.

  4. 04

    Page generation + deployment

Built with Next.js (recommended) or your existing stack. Static generation where possible, ISR for data that updates, dynamic only when necessary.

  5. 05

    Indexation strategy

Robots/canonical/noindex rules so only high-quality pages get indexed. We monitor index status and prune pages that don't meet quality thresholds over time.

  6. 06

    Quality monitoring + iteration

Track which templates perform; deprecate underperformers. Programmatic SEO is a system that gets refined, not a one-time deployment.

Deliverables

What you actually get.

Every deliverable shipped. Every fix verified. No 60-page PDFs that get filed and forgotten.

  • pSEO opportunity audit

Identification of viable pSEO patterns in your product/data, with quality thresholds defined per pattern.

  • Template architecture

Wireframe and content structure for each programmatic page template, with unique-value sections specified.

  • Data pipeline + QA

Data sourcing strategy and quality gates — pages without sufficient data don't get generated.

  • Page generation system

Built into your stack (Next.js, Sanity, etc.) with appropriate generation strategy (SSG, ISR, dynamic).

  • Indexation control

Robots, canonical, and sitemap strategy so Google indexes only high-quality pages.

  • Quality monitoring dashboard

Per-template performance tracking, automatic flagging of underperforming pages, pruning recommendations.

FAQ

Common questions.

How many pages should we generate?

However many you have genuinely valuable data for — not a number you target. We've built pSEO programs ranging from 500 pages to 80,000 pages. The right number is determined by your data quality, not by ambition.

Will Google penalize us for pSEO?

Not if the pages are genuinely useful. Google's Helpful Content systems penalize thin, unhelpful content regardless of how it was generated. A page with original data, useful structure, and unique value isn't penalized for being programmatic. A page with boilerplate text and a different city name swapped in absolutely is.

What stacks do you work with?

Next.js most often (SSG/ISR makes pSEO straightforward), but also WordPress with custom plugins, Webflow CMS, and Sanity/Contentful with custom front-ends. The strategy is platform-agnostic; implementation depends on your stack.

How long does a pSEO project take?

Initial template design and first batch: 6-12 weeks. Full deployment of 10,000+ pages: 4-6 months including QA and indexation ramp. SEO impact compounds over 6-12 months as Google indexes and ranks pages.
