Write for us — SEO & digital marketing guest posts.

SEOSpot accepts guest posts on SEO, link building, and digital marketing. We publish writing that teaches readers something real — and we turn down everything that exists only to place a link. Below are our guest post guidelines, the topics we cover, and how to pitch.

How to write for SEOSpot: send a guest post pitch with your proposed topic and a one-paragraph angle to [email protected] or use the form below. Accepted topics include SEO, link building, AI search, and digital marketing. Approved articles are published with an author byline, usually within 1–5 business days.

What we publish

  • Original, genuinely useful writing — something a reader learns from.
  • SEO, link building, AI search, or content strategy as the core subject.
  • Clear structure: headings, short paragraphs, lists where they help.
  • Concrete examples, real data, and properly attributed sources.
  • Clean copy — proofread, no AI-generated filler shipped raw.

What we turn down

  • Anything written mainly to place a link. We are not a link farm.
  • Topics already covered well on the blog, or generic rehashes.
  • Unsupported claims, fabricated statistics, or no sourcing.
  • Content already published elsewhere — Medium, LinkedIn, another blog.
  • Pure self-promotion with no value to the reader.
  • Forced or over-optimized anchor text in the links.

How it works

01

Pitch the idea

Send a topic and a one-paragraph angle — not a finished draft. We'll tell you fast whether it's a fit.

02

Write to the brief

If we greenlight it, you write the piece to an agreed brief. 1,000+ words is typical, but the topic sets the length.

03

Editorial review

We edit for clarity, accuracy, and structure. We keep editorial control over internal linking and final copy.

04

Publish

Approved pieces usually go live within 1–5 business days, with your author byline. We'll let you know when it's up.

Guest post FAQs

What does contributing a guest article mean?
You write an original piece for the SEOSpot blog as a one-off contributor. It lets you share expertise with a new audience and earn a byline. The content must be unique to us and genuinely useful to readers.
Who can contribute?
Anyone with real expertise in SEO, link building, AI search, or content marketing. We care about the quality and originality of the writing, not your job title. Submitted work must be unique, well-researched, and useful.
Do you accept an author bio?
Yes. Every published guest article includes an author byline, and we welcome a short bio with a link to your site or LinkedIn.
Can I include links in my article?
You can include relevant, contextual links. Promotional or affiliate links must be disclosed and approved. We keep full editorial control over links and may add, change, or remove them based on what serves the reader.
Can I specify exact anchor text for my links?
You can suggest anchor text, but we prioritize natural, contextual linking. Forced or over-optimized anchor text reads badly and can trigger search penalties, so we may rewrite it.
Can I request removal of internal links?
No. Internal links are added based on topic relevance and reader value, and they're part of how the site is structured. We keep editorial control over them.
Will my article be edited?
Yes. We edit every piece for clarity, grammar, accuracy, structure, and internal linking. Nothing is published without an editorial pass.
How long until my article is published?
Once approved, an article usually goes live within 1–5 business days. We'll tell you when it's published.
Can I share my published article elsewhere?
Yes — share it on your own site or social channels. That helps both you and SEOSpot. The article itself stays exclusive to our blog and shouldn't be republished in full elsewhere.
Do I keep the copyright to my article?
You keep copyright to your content. By submitting, you grant SEOSpot a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, and distribute it, and the editorial right to update or remove it over time.
How do I give my pitch the best chance of approval?
Pitch a specific, fresh angle rather than a broad topic. Prioritize reader value over promotion, keep links natural, and follow these guidelines. Quality content that solves a real reader problem is always preferred.

Our blog exists to help readers, not to sell links. Pitch accordingly and you'll hear back from us. Not sure if your idea fits? Ask us first.
